Year 5 & 6 students working on "their songs"

Here we have some photos of the year 5 and 6 students practising their new versions of the "wonderful world" song by Sam Cooke. They had to:
- Understand the meaning of the lyrics (subjects specially)
- Invent a new version of the song (write new lyrics)
- Practise and learnt the new lyrics
- Present it to the rest of classmates: we will vote and see which is the best version.

Next Sunday is Halloween and in our school we are going to celebrate it on Wednesday! The Y3 and Y4 are the organizers of the party. They have been working really hard for the last month. I am sure that we will have lot of fun with the games, stories and activities that they have prepared.

and we are preparing bats to decorate the classroom!

Year 1

Since we are working on the Human Body project, we have learnt the SKELETON DANCE song and we are preparing scary skeletons to play with. We will laminate the bones, put some velcro and enjoy putting the corrects bones together in order to make the skeleton!

We have learnt the story and represented in the classroom. Next week, we will make a little book about the story and also a very nice Witch to decorate the classroom!

Hello!
My name is Núria & I'm the English teacher of the school. This year in the English lessons the students, mainly the 3rd cycle ones, will upload the blog with pic., videos, songs, comments,etc. about what we are doing and working on!

Today the Y5-Y6 students have had the first English session & we have enjoyed with the"Wonderful World" song! On Friday we have planned to change the lyrics a little bit and make "our own song"!!
